Lucia has experience as a practitioner working with children, youth, adults and families in community based agencies and private practice since 2008. Her experience supervising practitioners started in 2018 and she has had various opportunities as instructor since 2020. Through this work she has firsthand experience in the challenges and the resources for practitioners working with clients and communities who have experienced violence, complex and intergenerational trauma and marginalized situations. Lucia´s guiding frame is informed by our innate ability to heal, the strength of community that comes from reciprocity, our identity, culture and heritage; and the healing guidance of the arts as a collaborative practice to process, learn, deconstruct and integrate.

Lucia is particularly interested in aesthetic approaches to nourishment and sustainability within a micro capacity that intersects with communal and reciprocal environments, that are connected to a phenomenological approach to the world.
